Zara Ali
Operations Lead

She/Her
WHAT MAKES ME HOPEFUL?
Honest and open discourse. The power of building our own communities - not relying on broken systems, but creating networks of care and support for each other.
WHAT MAKES YOU ANGRY?
Prejudice towards minorities, genocide and famine happening in this day and age, oppression, and the persistence of colonialist structures.
Bio
For the past several years, I’ve worked in operations roles across a mix of industries, from hospitality to creative start-ups, with a focus on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Whether it’s managing busy facilities, coordinating logistics, or streamlining processes, I’ve always been drawn to roles that bring structure and care to the people and spaces I work with. Alongside this, I’ve spent much of my free time on community-focused projects - hosting supper clubs to raise funds for Palestine, volunteering at marches, and supporting local workshops in my neighbourhood. I’m happiest surrounded by good food, live music, and a knitting project on the go.
