Pretentious policies and systems designed to show care for the employees when in actuality there is a lack of genuine care. My HR goal is to practise empathy in my people management approach, and to change the wrong perception of HR as the “police” and the perception of people management as a box ticking exercise.
I’m a generalist HR professional with demonstrated experience across various sectors like charities, business management consultancies, education management, real estate, radio, retail, and health industries. I believe in “working hard and playing hard”, so when I’m done working hard you will find me playing hard. I’m passionate about HR, travelling and learning a new language.
I also have an interest in culture and how diverse culture influences our beliefs and the way we work. I’m currently doing empirical research on the influence of subcultures on work- related ethical values, behaviours, and decision-making.
