The young people that join our programmes make me hopeful. Seeing their passion, anger and determination to build a better world is always inspiring.
WHAT MAKES YOU ANGRY?
The state of the criminal justice system and the heavy policing in London makes me angry, particularly the effect that it has on marginalised communities.
Bio
I was an alumni of The Advocacy Academy (Class of 2017) and have since joined a few of the campaigns hosted by TAA. I’ve worked on a housing campaign that helped to secure a £5 million piece of land in Streatham to build affordable housing. I have also supported The Halo Collective campaign, which is working to end hair discrimination across schools and workplaces across the UK.
