That moment, when people you're working with realise that they have the ability, with others, to make a difference on something that matters to them.
what makes me angry?
When people are told - and ultimately end up believing - that we don't have the right to be part of a decision that affects us. As citizens, it is our right to be involved in how our democracy works.
Bio
I am an organiser, campaigner, strategist and organisational leader. I’ve been in roles such as Director of Advocacy & Communications at Involve, Chief Executive of London Community Land Trust, and Senior Organiser at Citizens UK. I work to ensure decisions are made by those they most affect, and that power is more equally distributed in communities across the UK. I’ve also lived in south London my whole life, and don't plan on leaving.
